High Park Toronto

We had the opportunity to work in an old high park property. We removed many walls in the first level to make it open concept. The finishing details is what brought the final project together.

The work involved in this big project was Structural Framing, Plumbing, Heating Floors, Wood Floors, Drywall, Taping, Painting, Trims and Crown Molding.

We started the job by doing a complete demolition of the first and second floor of the house. We removed most of the interior walls, all the plumbing and all of the electrical wiring.

New framing was installed for the new kitchen and new living room in the first floor with an open concept idea in mind.

We loved installing heating floors. It makes the house much more comfortable and it adds value as well. The clients always love it.

We replaced many of the windows in the house since they were not going to work with the new design. We had to replace the frame and some of the exterior bricks as well.

The client wanted the largest counter top for his kitchen as possible, and so we gave it to him.

We added a new 2 piece rest room in the second level and another one on the third level of the house. Still keeping the open concept idea.

We drywalled, plastered and painted the hallways. The crown molding had to be adequate to the original design. The stairwell was custom made of white wood.

And to finish off the open concept idea we installed large glass doors leading to the back of the house.
